My Story

I offer fun and friendly dance fitness classes for adults in and around Frome. I welcome all abilities and ages.

 

I teach simple, low impact dance routines incorporating all sorts of different dance styles such as Salsa, Tango, Charleston, African, Contemporary, Bollywood and many more.  I love choosing a variety of music from all round the world and celebrating the joy of dancing together in a group.

 

The classes are an aerobic workout and improve strength, balance, coordination and flexibility. They can also be a workout for the brain too!

​​Why dance?

Scientific evidence now shows that dance is one of the best forms of exercise to do as we grow older. It conditions all muscles, improves agility, flexibility, balance and coordination. It can also help to boost memory. It benefits both physical and mental health and promotes emotional and social well-being.
